This is a youtube video of Martin Luther King Jr's speech, I Have a Dream. King believes african americans are being put in a corner. America has defaulted the right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness by denying African Americans the same privileges as whites. African Americans want freedom and justice. King says, "Now is the time to life the nation from the quicksand of racist injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood". Martin Luther King was standing up nonviolently for an America of peace and brotherhood. King dreamed of whites and blacks sitting down at dinner together. He dreamed that instead of being judged by skin, people were judged by character. Martin Luther King preached his dreams about an equal nation for both blacks and whites; for a nation free of injustice, and a nation free of racism.
