Race Riots began to flare up around the 1960s, the worst of them being in 1967 and 1968. These riots broke out due to African Americans continual frustration with having to deal with segregation, racism, unemployment, poverty, and lack of equal opportunities. These Riots took place in the major U.S. cities and caused severe damages and fatalities in some places.
